August 2025 AstroCast pt. 1
WOW WOW WOW. It has really been an intense year up until this point. While there will be a lot more to come in September with eclipse season, August provides one last moment of pure bliss and sweetness to 2025.
August 8 - Mercury in Libra directly opposes Saturn in Aries
The two malefics oppose each other here and create a lot of tension. These two planets are opposite in nature already (Mars is hot, fast moving, quick to act/react - Saturn is cold, slow, and mullls over every decision). Oppositions can often feel like a tug of war between the planets or places of life where the planets exist and ask us to think about how we can find a balance or center point between the two opposing sides. Mars oppose Saturn is likely going to challenge you, or create some frustration, a sense of bashing your head against the wall. While part of you might feel like you want to blaze ahead, another side of you might be desiring to slow down and calculate all of the outcomes. This gives us the opportunity to alchemize this tension and cerate a moment of breakthrough.
August 11 - Mercury in Libra stations direct
Yay! Mercury does go through a post retrograde shadow so the channels of communication may not feel completely cleared up right away but clarity is coming, I promise. As when any Mercury retrograde ends, there is simply an overarching vibes of clear airways, being able to breathe again, move forward with a little more ease.
August 11 - Jupiter conjunct Venus in Cancer
Gorgeous gorgeous Jupiter meets up with its fellow benefic Venus in one of the sweetest placements it possibly could. This immaculate signature is something we only see about once every 12 years and is definitely not an opportunity for love, abundance, growth, community, and connection to be squandered. Get together with loved ones, have a party, share food, dance under the moonlight, bask in the sweetness that is Jupiter and Venus.
August 11 - Saturn sextiles Uranus
With the airways of communication free and clear AND both benefics having a little party, we get this really interesting moment of Saturn sextiling Uranus. This is new systems of belief, new ways of creation, innovation. Uranus, the planet of unpredictable chaos, gives Saturn, the planet of commitment and hardwork, a little kiss to say “hey, let’s play”. What new experimental ideas land in your lap today?
